Description
By leveraging AI technologies across agriculture, logistics, and resource management, countries can address key dimensions of food security availability, access, utilization, and stability. Using a balanced panel dataset comprising 71 countries over the period 2019 to 2024, this study empirically assesses the impact of AI adoption on national food security outcomes. Employing generalized method of moments (GMM), findings reveal that AI has a statistically significant and positive influence on food security. The results underscore the importance of digital infrastructure in enabling AI-driven solutions to reduce hunger and enhance food security. Thus, these insights are vital for policymakers aiming to align technological innovation with food security strategies in vulnerable economies.
