Ocean Futures: Advancing Sustainable Marine Science and Aquaculture
The International Conference on Marine Science and Aquaculture (ICOMSA) started as an annual seminar in 2003 initiated by the Borneo Marine Research Institute (BMRI), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) together with our longstanding collaborators from Kindai University, Japan, as a platform to collaborate on research projects and share scientific findings in the field of marine science and aquaculture. Throughout the years as BMRI grew and expanded, the seminar garnered more participants from new collaborators and interested participants. From 2014 onwards the seminar is known as ICOMSA and it continues to attract participants to share invaluable knowledge, experience and problem-solving solutions over the conference platform.
