Abstract
Cross-cultural adjustment (CCA) is a critical concept in the context of globalization, where individuals frequently relocate across borders for work, education, and personal reasons. As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, understanding the dynamics of CCA has become essential for both individuals and organizations. This paper aims to explore the evolution of CCA through a review of literature, focusing on its definitions, the factors influencing it, and the specific challenges faced by foreign workers in Malaysia. Additionally, the paper will examine the relationship between CCA and job performance, providing insight for both academic discourse and practical applications.
